We did a thing!

For years, Jenn and I have been talking about renting a house, inviting a bunch of PT friends over, going for an awesome run, and then talking about rehab in all its glorious eccentricities. And then we realized—that sounds an awful lot like a continuing education retreat. And Trailhead Learning was born! We are so thrilled to partner with our amazing friends Sarah and Forrest Boughner of Alpine Running Guides in offering our first (of many!) courses in Whitefish, MT, October 7-9, 2022. It’s going to be a blast.

We are beyond excited for this new chapter. We haven’t been able to find a solid, evidence-based continuing education course that didn’t involve sitting in a windowless room or staring at a screen for 8 hours, and frankly, we’re over it. We need a vacation, and we know all of you do too.

If you know us at all, you know that we are beyond passionate about pedagogy, effective education, the profession of physical therapy, evidence- and science-based medicine, and professional development. We’re so excited to bring that passion into post-professional education—and have a fabulous time doing it!
